Exhibition Stand Ireland
Custom Exhibition Booth Design & Build for Dublin
Exhibition Stand Ireland - Echo Expo
Ireland occupies an unusual position in European trade shows: it’s an English-speaking EU member with a concentration of pharmaceutical, medtech, and technology company European headquarters that’s out of proportion to its population. Since Brexit, it’s also become the natural EU-facing alternative for exhibitors who used to default to a UK show. A Dublin exhibition still gives English-language access without the post-Brexit customs friction now attached to shipping into the UK.
An EU Base Without the Language Barrier
For exhibitors weighing whether to prioritize a UK or an EU show, Dublin often resolves the trade-off — full EU customs treatment for shipments from other EU countries, combined with English as the working business language throughout. We regularly help exhibitors plan Dublin as a first EU show specifically for this reason.
Where We Build
- RDS Dublin (Royal Dublin Society) — Ireland's most established exhibition venue, hosting major consumer, technology, and agricultural fairs.
- The Convention Centre Dublin — used for large conference-led exhibitions, particularly in pharma, medtech, and financial services.
- Citywest Convention Centre — a secondary Dublin venue for mid-size B2B exhibitions.
Freight & Customs
As an EU member state, Ireland allows free movement of goods for EU-origin shipments. Non-EU shipments — including from the UK, since Brexit — require standard customs documentation or an ATA Carnet for reusable stand materials. We recommend starting logistics planning 8 weeks ahead for EU shipments, and 10–12 weeks for non-EU or UK-origin freight.
Working with Irish Teams
- Business communication is direct but warm — small talk before business is common and genuinely valued, not just a formality.
- Punctuality is expected, though the overall meeting pace tends to be less rigid than in Germany or the Nordics.
- Given the concentration of multinational pharma and tech headquarters, many trade visitors are highly technical and expect detailed, accurate product information on the stand.
What We Deliver
- Bespoke and modular stand design
- 3D visualization before production begins
- Furniture, AV equipment, and LED screens
- Freight, customs coordination, and warehousing
- Installation, on-site technical support, and dismantling
Industries Exhibiting in Ireland
Pharmaceuticals and medtech, information technology, financial services, agriculture and food, and life sciences make up the bulk of Ireland’s exhibition traffic. We’ve supported exhibitors across each of these sectors, with particular experience in pharma and medtech stand builds that require accurate regulatory-compliant messaging.
Recent Work Across Europe
- A medtech exhibition stand at The Convention Centre Dublin for a European device manufacturer.
- A technology sector booth at RDS Dublin for a software company using Dublin as its first EU show post-Brexit.
- An agricultural exhibition pavilion at RDS Dublin for a farm equipment exporter.
One more practical note: because English is the working language throughout, briefing documents and venue correspondence rarely need translation, which simplifies coordination considerably.
Frequently Asked Questions

Which venues do you cover in Ireland?
RDS Dublin, The Convention Centre Dublin, Citywest Convention Centre, and other venues on request.
Is Dublin a good first EU show for a UK-based exhibitor post-Brexit?
Often, yes — it offers English-language business communication with full EU customs treatment for onward EU freight, which many exhibitors find is a lower-friction way to test the EU market.
Ireland projects, built in-house. We fabricate in Milan and Casablanca and ship into Ireland alongside our regular work in the Netherlands and Belgium, so nothing is subcontracted between design and dismantle. Recent European delivery includes a 24 m² stand for Morris Motley at Maison & Objet in Paris, Hall 4 booth A8-B7. Browse recent projects and production photos, then send the event, stand size and hall for an itemised quotation.
Do you handle customs for UK-origin shipments?
Yes — since Brexit, UK shipments require standard customs documentation or an ATA Carnet for reusable materials, the same as any non-EU origin.
How early should we start planning?
8 weeks for EU-origin shipments, 10–12 weeks for UK or other non-EU freight.

Exhibition stands in Ireland — common questions
Do you build exhibition stands in Ireland?
Yes. We design and fabricate in our own workshops in Milan, Italy and Casablanca, Morocco, then ship in and install with our own team. The same people handle design, production, freight, installation and dismantling, so there is one point of contact throughout.
How do freight and customs work for Ireland?
As an EU member state, Ireland allows free movement of goods from our Milan workshop, so no customs declaration is needed for stand materials moving from Italy. Exhibitors shipping from outside the EU still need an ATA Carnet or standard import documentation, and we allow ten to twelve weeks for that.
How far in advance should we plan a stand in Ireland?
Allow six months for a standard build and nine months for anything above 50 sqm or with heavy structural elements. Because freight to Ireland goes by sea or air rather than road, the shipping window is the binding constraint and it is fixed at design stage rather than left to the final weeks.
Can you build if we already have a design?
Yes. We work from your approved 3D design, or design from a brief. Either way we produce the technical layouts the venue needs for organiser approval, and we quote each element separately so nothing appears as an extra during build-up.
