Reusable Stand Systems Built for Multiple Shows
Modular Exhibition Stands
A modular stand is engineered to be dismantled, shipped, and rebuilt — show after show — without looking like a kit. The frame, panels and lighting are designed as a system from the outset, so the same components reconfigure to different floor areas and different open sides. For exhibitors running several shows a year, that changes the arithmetic: a modular system costs more than one custom stand up front and less across a full season.
Where Modular Makes Sense
- Kipsala International Exhibition Centre, Milan — Europe's principal exhibition venue, hosting logistics, industrial, and consumer fairs.
Freight and Storage
Modular components pack flat and travel in reusable crates, which cuts freight volume against a one-off custom build and makes island-and-sea destinations far more practical. Between shows we store the system in our own facilities in Milan and Casablanca, inspect it, replace consumables such as graphics and carpet, and ship it to the next venue. You are not paying to rebuild a structure that already exists.
A Documented Example
- Business communication is fairly formal and direct, with written follow-up expected after meetings.
- Punctuality is expected for meetings and build schedules.
What We Deliver
- Bespoke and modular stand design
- 3D visualization before production begins
- Freight, customs coordination, and warehousing
- Installation, on-site technical support, and dismantling
Custom or Modular — How to Choose
Furniture and interiors, automotive components, food processing, construction and building materials, cosmetics, and logistics make up much of Europe’s exhibition traffic — the country is Europe’s largest furniture exporter, and that shows in the calendar at Fiera Milano. We build for exhibitors in each of these sectors across Europe, and the same team handles design, fabrication, freight, installation and dismantling.
Recent Work Across Europe
- A logistics and freight stand at Kipsala International Exhibition Centre for a Baltic transport company.
- A manufacturing exhibition booth for a European industrial exporter targeting the Baltic region.
How Much Should an Exhibition Stand in Europe Cost?
Realistic budgeting for Europe comes down to three variables: your booth’s footprint, whether you’re building custom or modular, and how far ahead you start. The 8–10-week lead time we recommend isn’t arbitrary. It’s the point past which freight and production costs start climbing due to rush fees. If you’re planning multiple shows this year, ask us about a modular system scoped for reuse. It usually costs more than a single custom stand upfront but less across the full season.
Questions Worth Asking Before You Commit
Beyond the standard checklist, a few less obvious questions are worth raising early when planning a stand for Europe: does the venue allow overnight access during build-up, is there a dedicated loading dock or shared access with other exhibitors, and what’s the actual cancellation or rescheduling policy if the show date shifts. These details rarely show up in a show organizer’s exhibitor manual until you go looking. They can materially affect both timeline and cost. We check these specifics as a standard part of scoping any Europe project rather than assuming a standard process applies.
Frequently Asked Questions
– Exhibiting in Europe
What If Our Booth Size Changes Close to the Show?
It happens more often than exhibitors expect. An organizer reallocates hall space, or a last-minute budget change means scaling a booth up or down. We build a small amount of flexibility into the design and material order wherever the venue and timeline allow, so a modest size change doesn’t automatically mean starting the design process over from scratch.
Can you ship a stand built elsewhere in Europe to Europe, instead of building locally?
Yes, in many cases. If you already have a modular stand from another European show, we can assess whether it’s a practical fit for Europe’s venue and freight route rather than building a new one from scratch.
A documented example. Our modular design NS-338, a 25 m² system, was reused across three separate events in Switzerland in a single summer — the Frauenfeld Festival on 11 July and Zurich Open Field on 23 and 31 August 2024. One structure, three shows, three sets of graphics. More delivered work is on our recent projects page, with workshop and on-site images under production photos. If you would rather build once for a single show, see custom stand design. Send us your season — the shows, the stand sizes and the halls — and we will return an itemised quotation.
Which venue do you cover in Europe?
Kipsala International Exhibition Centre, Milan, and other venues on request.
How early should we start planning?
8–10 weeks for EU-origin shipments, 10–12 weeks for non-EU freight.

Modular exhibition stands — common questions
What is a modular exhibition stand?
A stand engineered as a system so it can be dismantled, shipped and rebuilt at another show. Frame, panels, lighting and graphics are designed to reconfigure to different floor areas and different numbers of open sides, rather than being built once for a single hall.
Is modular cheaper than a custom stand?
Not for a single show. A modular system costs more up front than one custom build, and less across a season. The saving comes from reusing the structure: for the next show you replace graphics and consumables rather than rebuilding.
Will a modular stand look like a kit?
Not if it is designed as a system from the start. We design the components together, so the finished stand reads as a bespoke build. The reusability is engineering, not a visual compromise.
Where is the system stored between shows?
In our own facilities in Milan and Casablanca. We inspect the system after each show, replace graphics and carpet, and ship it to the next venue.
Can a modular stand change size between shows?
Yes, within the range it was scoped for. Tell us the floor areas and open sides you expect across the season and we design the system to cover them.
