The build

This is a heavy, material-led stand rather than a graphic one. Board-formed concrete-effect walls sit within a deep portal frame. The Morris Motley wordmark and crest mount centrally on the fascia. A full-height LED screen sits recessed into the left wall. Meanwhile, a cascading ivy planter in a dark stone trough anchors the centre. The open-sided elevation uses a pergola structure on slim black columns. Hanging greenery fills the bays, while solid stone cubes at varying heights act as plinths. In short, the material palette does the selling: stone, concrete, black steel and planting, with almost no printed graphics anywhere.

Why it fits the venue

Maison & Objet rewards material and finish quality, not messaging. A concrete-effect surface that reads as genuine at arm’s length is a fabrication credential. Get the texture or the joint wrong and a specifier audience sees it immediately. Maison & Objet is also the European reference fair for interiors and lifestyle design. As such, it is a second design-critical audience alongside Salone del Mobile, with the same standard of finish scrutiny.

Why it matters

France now has multiple documented builds. They span interiors (Maison & Objet), rail infrastructure (SIFER Lille) and packaging. Consequently there is enough to support real France-market coverage rather than a single generic page.
