The challenge

AIX draws airlines, OEMs and tier-one suppliers. An engineering audience reads a stand critically. Sloppy joinery or a poor curve gets noticed immediately. Therefore the build called for large-radius curved forms finished to aerospace-adjacent standards. That is demanding carpentry, because a curve that looks visibly faceted fails at this show.

The build

The stand uses curved white structural forms with continuous, seam-minimised surfaces, integrated screens and enclosed meeting space. At 135 m² — a 15 × 9 metre footprint in Hall B5 — this is one of the largest stands in our record, and the scale is precisely what made the curve tolerances difficult: a faceted radius that passes unnoticed on a 20 m² build is obvious across a 15-metre elevation. In the end, precision of finish carried the credibility more than any graphic element could.

Why it matters

Process photography from this build shows the curved substructure before cladding. As evidence of fabrication capability, that beats a finished shot alone. Moreover, getting large-radius curves right and seam-minimised is a carpentry credential. It separates aerospace-adjacent work from standard trade-show fabrication.
