How far in advance should I book an exhibition stand in Germany?
For the major German shows we recommend starting six to nine months ahead, and nine to twelve months for larger stands at Messe Frankfurt, Deutsche Messe Hannover or Messe München — prime space and contractor slots go early. The binding constraints are the hall build-up window and, for exhibitors shipping from outside the EU, customs clearance, which needs ten to twelve weeks. Shorter timelines are possible once your stand space is confirmed, but booking earlier gives more design freedom and better freight rates.
