Alpinter — 30 sqm Stand at AIDEX, Palexpo Geneva
Client: Alpinter · Event: AIDEX · Venue: Palexpo, Geneva · Dates: 25–26 October 2023 · Size: 30 sqm · Sector: Humanitarian aid and relief supply
AIDEX brings the humanitarian sector together in Geneva — UN agencies, NGOs, procurement teams and the suppliers who equip them. Alpinter, a supplier of relief items and emergency shelter, took a 30 sqm stand across the two show days.
A stand built to display physical product
This is a procurement audience, not a passing one. Visitors arrive to inspect goods, compare specifications and talk to the people who supply them. The stand was built around that: open on two sides for approach, with structured shelving and display bays so relief items could be shown as objects rather than photographs, and a meeting area kept clear of the display run.
Two days, one build window
A two-day show compresses everything. There is no recovery time for a build that arrives incomplete, and dismantling begins almost as soon as the second day closes. Components were prepared in our own workshops and shipped ready to assemble, so the on-site work was installation rather than fabrication.
Geneva as a venue
Palexpo runs to a tight schedule and expects contractors to work to it. That is the same discipline behind our other Geneva build, the Tata Coffee stand at World of Coffee, and the reason we prefer structures that assemble predictably over ones that need adjusting on the floor.
