The challenge

Heimtextil is the world's largest trade fair for home and contract textiles. Messe Frankfurt runs it at scale, with thousands of exhibitors spread across multiple halls. Visitors move fast, and they judge fabric brands on presentation before conversation. Textiles carry a specific requirement most sectors don't face: the product has to be touchable. Fabric sells by hand, not by photograph. Therefore the 40 sqm space had to do three things at once. It had to display range. It had to let visitors handle material. And it still had to leave room to sit down and talk order quantities.

The build

Echo Expo produced the 40 sqm stand at 4.0 B38, delivered ready for the 14 January opening. Hall 4.0 sits inside Messe Frankfurt's textiles cluster. Build-up windows there are tightly allocated, because a very large number of exhibitors install at the same time. As a result, finishing a stand clean for a Heimtextil opening means working to the venue's schedule precisely, not approximately.

Why it matters

This is one of the most verifiable projects in the Echo Expo portfolio. Every detail is on the record. That includes the client, the event, the venue and the hall. It also includes the stand number, the square metreage and the exact dates. Moreover, it opened a sector the portfolio did not previously cover, namely textiles. It also supports the Messe Frankfurt venue claim, alongside Fi Europe and ISH.
