67 stands. 792 square metres. Two days to build.
SIEMA FoodExpo 2026 ran from 22 to 24 September at OFEC, the Foire Internationale de Casablanca. Echo Expo was the stand builder and fitter for the China Pavilion — Zhejiang International Trade Morocco 2026 and Yiwu International Trade Market District 4, presented under the Global Market Tour · Morocco banner.
The brief
Four pavilion groups in a single hall, each with its own visual identity and stand specification, delivered as one coordinated programme.

Eighty-eight three-metre modules. One shared deadline.
The constraint that shaped everything
SIEMA gives contractors two days to build. Not two weeks. Two days, 08:00 to 21:00, on 20 and 21 September.
Twenty-six working hours for 792 square metres is roughly thirty square metres an hour, sustained, with no weather margin and no second attempt. A programme like this is decided long before anyone reaches the hall — in whether the components arrive finished, and in whether they arrive in the order the crew needs them.
We were first on the floor
Access was granted ahead of the general build-up and our crew was working at 08:45 on day one, in an otherwise empty hall. On a two-day build that head start is not a courtesy, it is the margin. It is the difference between setting out the first pavilion run against a clear floor and setting it out around three other contractors’ pallets.
Graphics were the real programme
Over 340 printed pieces: fascia panels, reception posters, overhead banners and product-display fascias, each tied to a specific booth number. On a pavilion this size the risk is not print quality — it is the wrong name above the wrong door.
Every panel was scheduled against its booth before it was printed, and the booth numbers, areas and colour groups were cross-checked between the hall plan, the dimensional drawing set and the print schedule until all three agreed. That process caught two booth codes misread from the hall plan alone, and one stand that had been coloured on the plan but was not in the build scope — before either reached a cutting list.
Prefabrication, not site manufacture
Every component was finished in our Casablanca workshop and delivered in build sequence. Cutting and assembling on the hall floor is the single fastest way to lose a two-day build.
The system itself is a modular shell scheme on three-metre bays: aluminium frame, white infill panels, a printed fascia board to every stand carrying the exhibitor name and booth code, a lockable reception counter with printed graphic and QR panel, wall-mounted poster panels, and carpet throughout.
The skill in this kind of work is not in any single stand. It is in sixty-seven of them being identical where they should be identical, correct where they must differ, and all standing by the deadline.
Our own crew, in our own colours
Every person fitting these stands was Echo Expo, not agency labour hired at the door. On a 67-stand programme the crew has to read a booth code off a panel and know where it goes without asking. That only happens with people who built it.
Being local is the advantage
The stands were built in Morocco, by a Moroccan team, for a show in Morocco. No cross-border freight on the critical path. No customs window that could swallow the build. Site visits before the build rather than a first look on day one. And when something needed resolving with the organiser, it was resolved in the same building.
The result
All 67 stands were handed over inside the official build window. The pavilion opened on time on 22 September and ran for three days.
