SIEMA FoodExpo Stand Builder

Food Processing and Packaging Exhibition Stands Designed and Built at OFEC Casablanca

SIEMA FoodExpo brings the food processing, packaging and machinery industry to Casablanca, at OFEC. For an exhibitor flying in, the hard part is never the design. It is everything that has to happen in the two days before the doors open.

Echo Expo builds from our own workshop in Casablanca. No freight across a border, no customs window to miss, no waiting on a subcontractor you have never met. The people who draw your stand are the people who build it, and the people standing in the hall at seven in the morning making sure it is finished.

What A Two-Day Build Actually Demands

SIEMA gives contractors a two-day build-up window. That single constraint shapes everything else, and it is the thing most exhibitors discover too late.

However, a stand cut and assembled on the hall floor will not make it. A stand that arrives pre-fabricated, numbered and sequenced will. We finish every component in the workshop, deliver it in build order, and assemble rather than manufacture on site.

That is also why we plan the graphics run as carefully as the carpentry. On a large pavilion the print schedule of fascia panels, reception posters and overhead banners runs to hundreds of individual pieces, each tied to a specific booth. Get the numbering wrong and you have a beautiful stand with the wrong company name over the door.

Recent Scale At This Venue

Our current SIEMA programme is 67 stands across 792 square metres, delivered as four pavilion groups within a single hall, each with its own colour identity, graphics family and stand specification, plus a 72 square metre island stand in the public area.

In practice that is 88 three-metre modules, over 340 printed graphic pieces, and one shared deadline. It is the kind of work that is either fully planned or fully improvised, and we do not improvise.

Dates, hall and exhibitor information for the 9th edition are published by the organiser at siemamaroc.com. Bring us your space number from that floor plan and we will work back from it.

SIEMA is not the only show we build for at this venue. The hall itself is covered on our OFEC Casablanca venue page, and the October electric mobility show on our EVS Morocco stand builder page.

What A SIEMA FoodExpo Stand Builder Handles

  • Stand design and 3D visualisation from concept to approved technical drawings
  • Fabrication in our Casablanca workshop
  • Graphics including fascia, banners, reception posters, product displays and wall panels
  • Furniture, lighting and AV
  • Organiser approvals including drawing submissions, height clearances and overhead permissions
  • Installation and dismantling inside the official build window
  • On-site project management for the duration of the show

Working Within The SIEMA Rules

Every exhibition has rules that quietly decide what your design can be. At SIEMA the ones that catch people out are the self-build height limit, the requirement to submit stand drawings for approval well before the show, and a strict position on anything overhead or spanning an aisle, which needs written permission from the organiser and carries a cost.

Because of that, we read the manual before we draw, not after. When a design touches one of those limits we raise it while it is still cheap to change, and we put the approval request in writing.

Why A Local Builder Changes The Maths

  • No cross-border freight for the stand structure, and no customs risk on your critical path
  • Site visits before the build, not a first look on day one
  • A crew that can be scaled at short notice from our own workshop
  • Someone in the hall who speaks to the organiser in the same building, not by email from another country
  • Storage and reuse between Moroccan shows, instead of building and skipping

Frequently Asked Questions

Where Is SIEMA FoodExpo Held?

How Long Is The Build-Up Period?

Two days. Space-only contractors build across the two days immediately before the show opens, which makes prefabrication essential rather than optional.

Do I Need Approval For A Self-Build Stand?

Yes. Space-only exhibitors must submit stand drawings and 3D designs to the organiser for approval ahead of the show, and any change to an approved plan must be notified immediately. There is a height limit for self-build stands that cannot be exceeded without prior written approval.

Can I Hang A Banner Or Build Over An Aisle?

Not without written permission. The exhibition rules prohibit spanning an aisle, and nothing may be hung in the fairground without the organiser’s approval, which carries a cost. Any overhead element has to be agreed in advance.

Can Echo Expo Build If My Stand Is Space Only?

Yes. Space-only stands include no services, so carpet, furniture and electrics are ordered separately. We handle the design, fabrication, graphics, installation and the approval paperwork.

Do You Build For Pavilions And Group Participations?

Yes. Our current SIEMA programme covers 67 stands across 792 square metres in four pavilion groups within one hall.
