The European Coatings Show is the world’s leading fair for paint, coatings, adhesives and sealants. It runs at Messe Nürnberg. Jazbaa Chemicals exhibited there on a 30 m² stand at 3C-137, across the three show days in March 2025.
A chemicals stand is a meeting stand
Coatings buyers do not browse. Instead, they arrive with a shortlist and a schedule. The conversations run long and technical. That shapes the layout. Therefore the brief called for seating capacity and quiet rather than open display. After all, industrial chemistry is not something you put on a shelf.
So we planned the 30 m² around discussion space. The brand wall does the identification work from the aisle. Meanwhile, the interior stays calm enough to hold a technical meeting in a hall of 1,000-plus exhibitors.
Nuremberg build conditions
Messe Nürnberg runs a disciplined build schedule and strict hall regulations. We fabricated the stand in our own workshop. Then we freighted it to Nuremberg and installed it within the organiser’s build-up window, ahead of the 25 March opening.

Speciality chemicals do not display. There is nothing to put on a plinth that a buyer will cross an aisle to look at. So the stand has to earn attention with light and height, then convert it with somewhere to sit down.
That is why the header runs on three faces rather than one. On a corner plot at a show with more than 1,200 exhibitors, the difference between being seen from one aisle and being seen from three is the whole return on the stand.
Why a first-time European exhibitor is a different brief
An exhibitor who has done ten European shows knows what the hall will not allow. A first-timer does not, and finds out during build-up, when it is expensive.
So the work that mattered here happened before anything was cut: confirming the rigging and height rules for the hall, the electrical load, the floor protection requirement, and the waste and dismantling deadlines. None of that appears in a photograph, and all of it is what stops a stand being refused.
Why this one matters
This build adds coatings and speciality chemicals to the sectors we have documented proof in. It is also our second Nuremberg venue after Euroguss. Germany is the densest exhibition market in Europe. Therefore, named and dated builds at more than one Messe matter when a German buyer checks whether you have actually worked there.
