Exhibition Stands Designed, Built and Installed for SIAM, the International Agriculture Show in Meknès — 19–27 April 2027
SIAM, the Salon International de l’Agriculture au Maroc, holds its 19th edition in Meknès from Monday 19 to Tuesday 27 April 2027. In fact, it is the largest agriculture show in Africa: more than a million visitors over nine days, 1,590+ exhibitors from 76+ countries, and 37 hectares of themed pavilions. The 2027 theme is “Investir dans la jeunesse pour l’agriculture de demain”, investing in youth for tomorrow’s agriculture.
As a SIAM stand builder, Echo Expo designs and builds stands and pavilions for the show from our own workshop in Casablanca, around 230 km from Meknès. First, every component is made, finished and test-assembled in the workshop, then delivered in build order.

The Pavilions
SIAM is laid out in thematic pavilions (pôles). The official list includes the 12 regions of the Kingdom, International, Agro-food, Agro-supply, Terroir products, Nature and Environment, Livestock, Machinery, Agri-Digital, Génération Green and the conference area. A SIAM stand builder therefore needs to know your pavilion before drawing anything.
As a result, each pavilion asks for a different stand. For example, a machinery exhibitor needs floor loading, wide open frontage and room to walk around a tractor. By contrast, a food or terroir exhibitor needs product display, tasting counters and storage. Similarly, a country pavilion needs a shared identity across many small stands, which is exactly what we delivered for the 792 m² China pavilion at SIEMA Food Expo.
Why a SIAM Stand Builder Plans for Nine Days
In general, trade shows run for three or four days. SIAM, however, runs for nine, with business days and very busy public days. A stand that looks fine on day one has to look the same on day nine, so a SIAM stand builder plans for wear from the first drawing. As a result, the build changes:
- Floors that take traffic. Raised floors with hard-wearing finishes, ramped edges and carpet chosen for wear, not only for colour.
- Finishes that can be cleaned. Washable paint, laminates and protected corners, because a million visitors touch everything.
- Storage and staff space. Nine days of samples, brochures and giveaways need a lockable store, a fridge and somewhere for the team to rest.
- Weather. In addition, part of SIAM is outdoors and under temporary structures. We specify materials and fixings for spring sun, wind and the odd shower.
A SIAM Stand Builder for Country Pavilions and Group Stands
Moreover, SIAM welcomes 45+ foreign delegations, and many arrive as national pavilions with a lead agency and a dozen or more co-exhibitors. For this reason, we build these as one project: one design language, shared reception and meeting areas, and individual stands that each exhibitor can brand. Planning With Your SIAM Stand Builder
- Concept and design: January to February 2027.
- Approval and organiser submission: 6 to 8 weeks before the show.
- Production in Casablanca: March 2027.
- Transport to Meknès and build: in the build days the organiser sets before 19 April.
