The project
A 64 m² stand at Lineapelle, Fiera Milano, for Hae Sung AIDA Industrial — a Korean manufacturer supplying the leather and footwear industry.
Delivered for Hae Sung AIDA by the team that now designs and fabricates under the Echo Expo name. Echo Expo SARL was founded in 2025 by a team carrying over 20 years of hands-on exhibition experience.
Lineapelle is a materials show, and that changes the brief
Lineapelle is where the world’s tanneries, component makers and materials suppliers show to footwear, leather goods and fashion brands. The buyers are designers and product developers, and they buy by touching things.
- The product has to be handled, not displayed. Leather, textiles and components are judged by hand — weight, grain, drape, finish. A stand that puts the material behind glass has already lost the conversation
- Sample volume is enormous. A materials exhibitor brings hundreds of swatches and references. Storage, sorting and presentation surfaces matter more than hero displays
- Colour rendering is not optional. Lighting that shifts a leather’s tone costs a supplier real business. Lamp temperature is a commercial decision at this show
- Seated meetings run all day. Buyers work through collections table by table, so the stand is mostly a workspace with a front
Why 64 m² at Lineapelle is a meaningful size
Most Lineapelle exhibitors take small, dense stands — the show is about materials, not architecture. At 64 m² this was a substantial footprint in that hall, and the space had to earn its cost in meeting capacity rather than spectacle.
It is also a Fiera Milano build, in the same venue as our work at Gastech, Salone del Mobile, EICMA and CPHI Milan.
