AGI Greenpac at Paris Packaging Week

Client: AGI Greenpac · Event: Paris Packaging Week · Venue: Paris Expo Porte de Versailles · Country: France · Sector: Packaging

The challenge

Paris Packaging Week brings the beauty, fragrance and premium drinks supply chain into one hall at Porte de Versailles. The buyers walking it are specifiers. They are not there to be impressed by a headline. They are there to pick up a bottle, check the glass in the light, and feel the finish on a closure.

That sets a hard brief. The stand has to display a very large SKU range at handling height. It must light every piece properly. It also has to leave a private-feeling space to talk tooling and volumes. Packaging shown badly reads as cheap packaging, whatever it actually costs to make.

The build

Echo Expo built a warm timber-toned structure wrapped around full-height illuminated display cabinets. Each cabinet used individually backlit shelving. A bottle was therefore lit from behind and below, rather than washed out by hall lighting from above. That is the difference between glass that looks like glass and glass that looks grey.

A central reception counter with an illuminated brand mark anchored the stand. Tall graphic light boxes flanked the entrance, carrying the sustainability message. Live planting was built into the structure rather than added as decoration. That matters when the proposition on the wall is sustainable packaging. Seating sat behind the display line so meetings happened inside the stand, not in the aisle.

Why it matters

This build gives France a third documented project alongside Maison & Objet in Paris and SIFER in Lille — and it opens packaging as a served sector in its own right, distinct from the industrial packaging work already documented in Madrid.
