100 sqm at Salone del Mobile — Jaipur Rugs
Salone del Mobile draws the most design-literate audience in the exhibition calendar. Two adjacent booths had to read as one 100 sqm room rather than two stands sharing a wall. The signed contract specified a wood structure built from recycled materials, and we delivered exactly that: a recycled timber structure, natural-material walls and recycled carpet underfoot. For a buyer under ESG pressure, that distinction matters. A sustainability sticker is easy. A recycled structure named in a signed contract is not.
Three Stands, One CPHI Milan Edition — 141 sqm
The challenge here was not fabrication. It was simultaneity. Three stands in three non-adjacent halls shared one build-up window, one set of hall access slots, one crew pool and one delivery route. Materials could not be staged in a single place. Likewise, a crew finishing in Hall 6 was not instantly useful in Hall 4. Everything therefore sequenced backwards from one immovable fact. Doors opened on 8 October, and all three stands had to be finished, lit and clean. Two of the three were built for Ausun Pharm and Spring Bio Solution, both active-ingredient manufacturers. Multi-stand delivery at one edition is a project-management credential that is checkable against real booth numbers.
BENTU at EICMA — 36 sqm
A six-day show at Fiera Milano tests everything. EICMA draws a consumer and trade crowd in volume, so the stand had to survive heavy footfall while still presenting product cleanly.
Olanska at MCE — 35.75 sqm
MCE is the international HVAC, plumbing and renewable-energy fair. Olanska exhibits valves, pumps and fittings. These are small metal products in dozens of variants, and all of them have to be visible and reachable. So we turned the walls themselves into the display, with full-height shelving bays and a recessed LED strip along every shelf edge.
What Exhibiting at Fiera Milano Actually Involves
Rho-Fiera is one of the largest exhibition grounds in Europe. That scale is an advantage when you exhibit and a problem when you build. Moreover, most of the difficulty is not design. It is process.
You must formally activate your stand builder
This surprises most first-time exhibitors. At Fiera Milano you do not simply hire a contractor and let them turn up. Through the Fiera Milano exhibitor portal, the exhibitor has to activate the stand builder and submit the stand design project for approval. Until that is done, your contractor has no authorised standing at the venue. We handle this step with you and prepare the design submission in the format the venue expects.
Build-up and dismantling passes are issued in advance
Crew access for setup and breakdown is managed through the same portal as build-up and dismantling accreditation. Passes are requested ahead of the show, not collected at the gate. That has a practical consequence. Your contractor needs to know its crew list early. Therefore a builder who cannot tell you who is coming until the week before is a builder who has not done this venue.
Arrive finished, not ready to build
A build that arrives incomplete has no recovery time, and dismantling begins almost as soon as the show closes. We work around that in one specific way. Components are fabricated and finished in our own Milan workshop, then shipped ready to assemble. As a result, on-site work becomes installation rather than fabrication. That shortens the hours billed on the show floor and removes the risk of finishing carpentry in a hall under time pressure.
Freight, customs and ATA Carnet
Shipments arriving from outside the EU need customs clearance and, in most cases, an ATA Carnet. Getting that wrong strands a stand in a bonded warehouse while your show opens without it. Height limits, rigging, suspended elements and material certification vary by hall, by show and between editions.
