Exhibition Stand Hungary

Hungary has become one of the automotive industry’s most important manufacturing bases in Central Europe, with major German and Asian carmakers running plants and supplier networks around Budapest and Győr. Its exhibition sector is shaped heavily by that reality — trade fairs here draw procurement teams and engineers from across the automotive supply chain, alongside a growing electronics manufacturing and logistics sector riding the same wave of foreign investment.

A Supply Chain Audience, Central European Reach

Exhibitors targeting Hungary are usually either selling into this automotive and electronics manufacturing base directly, or using Budapest as a base to reach Slovakia, Austria. The wider Central European corridor in the same trip. We plan builds with whichever of these applies to your show — a supplier-facing technical stand looks and functions differently from a broader regional business development pavilion.

Where We Build

Freight & Customs

As an EU member state, Hungary allows free movement of goods for EU-origin shipments. Non-EU shipments require standard customs documentation or an ATA Carnet for reusable stand materials. We recommend starting logistics planning 8 weeks ahead for EU shipments, and 10 weeks for non-EU freight.

What We Deliver

Industries Exhibiting in Hungary

Automotive components and manufacturing, electronics, logistics, industrial machinery, and food processing make up the bulk of Hungary’s exhibition traffic. We’ve supported exhibitors across each of these sectors, with particular experience in automotive supply chain stand builds at HUNGEXPO.

Planning Your Budget and Timeline for Hungary

Three things move the price of a Hungary stand more than anything else: the size of the space, whether the build is fully custom or a reusable modular system. How much runway you give freight and documentation before the show. Starting inside our recommended 8-week window keeps costs predictable — late bookings almost always mean paying a premium for expedited production or freight, not saving time for free. For exhibitors returning to Hungary annually, a modular system also spreads the initial investment across multiple shows rather than starting from zero each time.

Exhibition stands in Hungary — common questions

Do you build exhibition stands in Hungary?

Yes. We design and fabricate in our own workshops in Milan, Italy and Casablanca, Morocco, then ship in and install with our own team. The same people handle design, production, freight, installation and dismantling, so there is one point of contact throughout.

How do freight and customs work for Hungary?

As an EU member state, Hungary allows free movement of goods from our Milan workshop, so no customs declaration is needed for stand materials moving from Italy. Exhibitors shipping from outside the EU still need an ATA Carnet or standard import documentation, and we allow ten to twelve weeks for that.

How far in advance should we plan a stand in Hungary?

Allow six months for a standard build and nine months for anything above 50 sqm or with heavy structural elements. Road freight from Milan reaches Hungary quickly, but the hall build-up window and organiser approvals are scheduled tightly, so early planning is what protects the timeline.

Can you build if we already have a design?

Yes. We work from your approved 3D design, or design from a brief. Either way we produce the technical layouts the venue needs for organiser approval, and we quote each element separately so nothing appears as an extra during build-up.
